§ 2 Use and registration data

To the necessary extent, use and registration data is collected, processed and used for the development of the website. The Zentralverband Gartenbau e.V. (ZVG) may employ cookies or server-side sessions for the website in which data may be stored. § 4 Third-party services

a) Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google, provided by Google Inc.,1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"), and collects and stores data through this web analysis service from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. The user profiles thus created are used for analysis of visitor behaviour for the purpose of arranging and improving the offerings presented on this website in line with user needs. Google Analytics makes use of "cookies", small text files which are stored on your computer and enable analysis of your use of the website. The website usage information produced by the cookie is, as a rule, sent to and saved on a Google server in the USA. Where IP anonymisation on this website is activated, however, your IP address is first shortened by Google within the member states of the European Union or other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there only in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of this website, compile reports on website activities and provide additional services associated with the use of the website and of the internet to the website operator. Google does not match the IP address transmitted by your browser within Google Analytics with other data. The pseudonymous user profiles are also not combined with personal data about the user without the user's express and separately declared consent. You may disable storage of cookies through a corresponding setting in your browser software; be advised, however, that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website. In addition, you may disable the collection of the data created by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

Customers can view Google's data protection notices at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. For further information on terms of use and data protection see http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html. Please note that the code "anonymizeIp" has been added to Google Analytics on this website to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (IP masking).

b) Social media links
The Zentralverband Gartenbau e.V. (ZVG) has its own social media pages with third parties, accessible via links from this website. Using these links will take you to the websites of these third-party providers (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+). As soon as you have loaded the pages of these third-party providers, you will be within the given third party's domain of responsibility and their data protection and/or declarations on data use will apply. The Zentralverband Gartenbau e.V. (ZVG) has no influence on them. However, to prevent unnecessary disclosure of data before using one of these links, we recommend logging out from each of these third-party providers so that user profiles cannot, where applicable, be compiled by the third parties simply through use of the links. To protect your data, the Zentralverband Gartenbau e.V. (ZVG) has deliberately used only links while avoiding further plug-ins from the third-party providers.
